Roskhill Barn - Taigh Bārr apartment
Roskhill Barn was built as an agricultural byre in the late 19th Century. In the 1970's, the Barn was extended and converted into two self contained two-bedroom apartments.
The ground floor is the home of Richard and Sue - proprietors of Skye Holidays
The first floor apartment is called Taigh Bārr (Gaelic for House on Top), and is available for self catering rental, or NEW for 2008, as luxury Bed and Breakfast accommodation.
The Barn is located 200 metres from the A863, approximately 3 miles from Dunvegan in the North West of Skye. In Dunvegan are a selection of shops, restaurants and bars, plus, of course, the world famous Dunvegan Castle.
The Barn faces Loch Bracadale - said by many to be Skye's most beautiful loch. The view from the living room window and porch also encompasses the cliffs to Idrigill Point and MacLeod's Tables - two flat-topped mountains.
The Barn has a large sunny garden equipped with outdoor furniture and a drying green.
There is ample off-road parking for guests.
