Terms and Conditions
Please read carefully
The tenant will be entering a Contract with SkyeHolidays once the Booking Form has been signed.
Bookings for Self Catering will be subject to the conditions shown below:
1. A deposit of £50.00 per week booked is payable if the booking is made 8 weeks before the start of the rental with the balance payable 8 weeks before the arrival date. With bookings made less than 8 weeks before the arrival date, the total fee is payable with the Booking Form. For bookings less than two weeks before the arrival date payment must be by cash as cheques will not be accepted. Non payment of the balance of the rent on or before the due date shall be considered as a cancellation of the Contract by the tenant.
2. V.A.T. is included in all rental prices where applicable.
3. Our properties are let on weekly terms from 4.00 p.m. on Saturday to 10.00 a.m. the following Saturday. By signing these terms and conditions you agree to leave the property at the end of the period booked. Weekend and mid week breaks may be available with information provided on request.
4. Cancellations made by the tenant are to be in writing and sent to SkyeHolidays at the address on the Booking Form. Upon receipt, SkyeHolidays will attempt to re-let the relevant property and if successful for the whole week, a refund will be made. Re-letting may incur offering a discount, so your full payment may not be refunded. If it is not possible to re-let for the period then payments already made will be forfeited. Tenants are strongly advised to insure against the possibility of cancellation.
5. Tenants are responsible for all breakages in or on the premises and all loss and damage caused by the tenants during their occupancy. Tenants are legally bound to reimburse SkyeHolidays for any necessary repair, replacement or cleaning costs.
6. SkyeHolidays reserves the right to refuse entry to a tenant party should the number in the party exceed the "sleeps" number shown on this website and other promotional literature.
7. The tenant is to take proper care of all fixtures, fittings and furniture at the property leaving them in the condition in which they were found at the beginning of the letting period.
8. Up to two dogs are allowed in each property but it is the responsibility of the owners to ensure they are not allowed on any furniture or beds, not to leave them unattended in the property, and to keep them under constant control.
9. SkyeHolidays will not be under any liability to the tenant or third party for any damage or loss resulting from breach of this contract, negligence or otherwise.
10. Should any essential repair be necessary at any of our properties, SkyeHolidays reserves the right of entry at all reasonable times.
11. Tenants of Rowan Cottage should be aware that the attic room and the staircase leading to it do not have building standards approval as living space. Use of the staircase or attic room is therefore entirely at the risk of the tenant.
